【潮汕红桃粿】制作方法 #马来西亚版#

简介

红桃粿是潮汕的一种美食，也是每年拜神必须有的。也深受大多潮汕人的喜爱。大家也可以当做一种美味的小吃。

用料  

粘米粉500克	生粉50克
糯米400克	香菇80克
花生100克	五香粉2克
食用红色素少许	盐3克

潮汕红桃粿的做法  

1. 水和粉的比例1:1。因为有些粉吸水不一样，可以自己加减，把锅里的水煮沸腾，慢慢加上粘米粉，用筷子用划圈的方式慢慢把它煮熟，这时火候不要太大，一定要熟透。把熟的粘米团放到別的盆子，放凉一点赶快揉，如果太粘可以加点生粉。揉到光滑就可以放着备用，上面要盖着纱布。这样不会干得太快。

2. 这时煮糯米饭，煮时要比我们平时煮饭时的水下得少一点。因为糯的粘性好大，太多水不行。这时候，把花生、香菇剁碎，把碎香菇在锅里用油炸一下，炸到起香味即可。糯米饭煮熟后把备好的香菇、花生、五香粉盐放上去像炒饭一样，炒均匀。还可以加些你喜欢的配料。这时把粘米团加上一点食用的红色素，用力揉均匀。就可以包刚备好的糯米饭，包好用模子印就可以了，做的时候如果粘就要用些粘米粉来备用。印好用大火蒸十五分钟，蒸的时候蒸笼要垫纱布这样就完成。

3. 这样就是蒸好的红桃粿，这个也是潮汕的美食之一。

On that day, it was raining and really windy. We were hungry and cold so we had our dinner at Restoran Kwan Kee as we passed by and just next to the main road of Cameron Highland. Their price is reasonable and taste not bad also. Their package is served according to your number of people and comes with soup, prawn, pork slices, chicken slices, fish slices, meehon, some greens and eggs.

Down to Bones is introduced by 8TV Hochak and it is located considered not far from my place. This is a new place to have pork ribs. From the photo, the pork ribs is really big portion. For me, it is not dry enough because it is still soft. The price is only RM18.00. Each rib is served together with mashed potato, sausages and some greens. *Hand gloves will be provided*

Malaysians Unite Against Diabetes Run 2016

Held in conjunction with World Diabetes Day, this charity run is organized by Sunway Medical Centre to raise awareness on diabetes and its complications. Proceeds will go to LIMBS FOR LIFE, an NGO that offers artificial limbs to Malaysian amputees.

It has been awhile not participating in any run. Luckily manage to sign up for Early Bird this time. This is the most satisfactory run ever because a lot of goodies are given. Haha.

Inside Scoop at Mahkota Cheras

Too bad that I'd missed the opening promotion at Inside Scoop Mahkota Cheras last Friday. Only RM2 per scoop of ice cream. Sad.... It is located next to a cafe called 10 Gram. For people like me, who very afraid of no parking, may consider this branch instead.
